Erumanen ne Menuvu Kamal
Erumanen ne Menuvu is the collective identity of 13 sub-groups or vansas, with its own political structure, having at least 50,000 constituents in Central Mindanao, particularly in the province of Cotabato and the southern part of Bukidnon.
Kamal is the indigenous political structure of the Erumanen ne Menuvu who exercise their governance through three inseparable components – belief, socio-politics, socio-economic – that the people are obliged to do in order to survive and exist with just peace and economic abundance. Governance is made up of three levels: primary level, secondary level and supreme level. At present, the IPS are strengthening their indigenous governance, socio-economic and political, justice system and environmental management practices.
